About Association
SOYUZUPAK
is non-profit private organization established in 1993. It joins by honorary duties more than 350 companies of all kind involved in packaging industry in Russian Federation and Commonwealth of Independent States.Among them big integrated pulp-and-paper mills integrated cardboard manufactures and printing houses; producers of polymer, metallic and glass packaging of different types; machine shops; consulting, advertising, publishing, design, commercial firms; graduate schools; investment structures; branch associations. The intensions to co-operate in developing of packaging industries in Russia and to improve the interactions with the customer in market conditions with growing competition connects all the members of Association.
Geography of the members of Association is rather wide - from port Nachodka to Kaliningrad. Association includes packaging companies and organizations from Ukraine, Belorussia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Lithuania and other foreign countries.
SOYUZUPAK is co-organizer of many packaging exhibitions in Russia including such prominent international exhibitions and salons as Rosupack, Etiketka, UpakkartonRussia, UpakplasticRussia, UpakmashRussia, UpakstekloRussia, PharmaupakRussia.
SOYUZUPAK is also organizer of annual international and Russian competitions: packaging competition "Packaging - Star of Russia", label competition "Label-Russian style", paper, cardboard or corrugated cardboard packaging competition "Mr. Cardboard", youth competition in the field of packaging "A Clockwork Orange".
Association conducts the activities in the following directions:
- organizing of annual specialized international conferences, symposia, workshops;
- assistance in developing of foreign affairs and integration, searching for the international partners and investors;
- publishing and distribution of specialized literature;
- staff training, organizing of foreign traineeships for specialists;
- consulting services in the fields of marketing and advertising, analytical treatment of packaging market;
- environment monitoring and assistance in solving problems of package recycling and resource saving.
SOYUZUPAK is a member of World Packaging Organization (WPO), Confederation of Packaging Machinery Associations (C.O.P.A.M.A.), International Association for the self-adhesive labeling industry (FINAT - FEDERATION INTER-. NATIONALE DES FABRICANTS ET TRANSFORMATEURS D'ADHESIFS ET THERMOCOLLANTS SUR PAPIERS ET AUTRES SUPPORTS), The European Organization for Packaging and the Environment (EUROPEN).
Those Russian and foreign companies and organizations operating in packaging market, colleges graduating specialists in the field of packaging and any firms involved in the package industry including consumers of packaging that agree with bylaw of the Association can be accepted in SOYUZUPAK.
